This calendar is a part of a nationwide project on financial literacy, that Visa started in 2016. Our creative team designed and illustrated variously printed and interactive materials for children and adults with a focus on educating people on personal finances. We also created a family of relatable characters, each of whom had their own financial goals and focus.
For the calendar, we decided to go with a softer and more humorous illustration style showing that managing personal finances are not something that needs to be boring and frustrating, in the end, it’s about enjoying life and achieving our goals. Each month is focused on events that are likely to happen – holidays, Black Friday sales, taxes, vacations, etc.
